The lagoon, the Sheraton, and the way in.
Halfway between Cha-Am and Hua Hin, inside the gated Blue Lagoon compound. Quiet on purpose — the beach is uncrowded and the lagoon is calm.
What it is, and why it changes the stay.
Most resort pools are something you visit — you walk to it, find a lounger, and walk back. This one runs past the buildings like a canal. It is 1.25 km end to end, wide enough to swim properly rather than do lengths in a rectangle, and it is fresh, still water rather than sea.
The practical difference is that swimming stops being an outing. Guests staying a month swim before breakfast because it takes forty seconds to get there, not because they planned to.
If you want to be closest to it, ask for a ground-floor Lagoon Access apartment — the terrace opens onto the water.
Swimming here, day to day.
- Fresh water, not salt — and no tide, so it swims the same at any hour.
- Shaded stretches and open stretches, so there is somewhere to be at midday.
- Shallow edges along the ground-floor terraces, which is why families with small children ask for that floor.
- Long enough that you can swim for exercise without turning every twenty metres.
Pools and gym next door.
Sunvillas offers independently operated apartments in the same compound. Access to the neighbouring Sheraton’s facilities is optional and paid separately.
Train in the morning. Swim all afternoon.
Fitness room (08:00–21:00), swimming pools (07:00–19:00), sauna and steam room. The fitness room, sauna and steam room are for guests aged 16 and over. Ask at the Sheraton’s fitness centre and say you are staying at Hua Hin Blue Lagoon. Register the whole family at once for the family pass.
Monthly passes reduce the average daily cost.

Pass holders get 20% off the à la carte menu and non-alcoholic drinks in the Sheraton’s restaurants and bars, and 25% off the à la carte spa at Shine Spa. Alcohol is not included, and the discounts can’t be combined with other promotions.

Buffets: breakfast THB 650++ per person, dinner THB 850++ per person. The ++ means service charge and tax are added.
From Bangkok, and into town.
About 2.5 hours by road from either Bangkok airport. Most guests book their own transfer — Grab and Bolt both work from the airports, and private transfers are easy to arrange online.
Into Hua Hin town: the Sheraton front desk arranges a car for THB 300 a trip (up to 4 people), or a minibus for THB 500. Grab and Bolt cover the area too, which is handy in the evenings. Ask us and we’ll set it up.
Getting to the door, once you reach the gate.
- Give the guard your room number — we send it before you arrive.
- Drive to the building entrance closest to your unit; the guard points the way.
- We meet you at the apartment door between 2:00 and 5:00 pm. Arriving outside that? Tell us in advance and we’ll find a way.
